Eid AL Adha

“Eid Mubarak “is what all the Muslims used to say to each other during Eid. It is a time for Muslims to celebrate the happy days of Eid. Families gathering together greeting each other, having lots of fun and the most important thing is thanking Allah for this great days.

This year’s Eid Al Adha was on Friday the 30th of November. We used to get up early in Eid’s morning to pray Eid pray usually, men go to Eid’s prayer room and we as women stay at home. After that, we all congratulate wishing happy life to each other. Children ask for” Eideya“from elder people “I used to be one of them, but unfortunately I am no moreL”.

I did nothing special on this Eid, everything was as regular and I enjoyed itJ

EIB Campaign

Week 11 was our EIB campaign week. On this week we had to promote for the EIB branch in our college, mainly talking about their products and try to get as much customers as we can.

We sat a booth in student center next to the branch itself. The place was helpful as we managed to attracted student center’s visitors. We promoted Al Reem account for girls and female staff and credit cards for all staff in general. People’s reaction about our campaign was good, many of students and staff as well opened new account on that week. I think we ran this campaign successfullyJ

A day for Work and Fun!

On Friday 6th of Nov. 2009 I and my friend Abeer decided to meet to do our Ratio Analyses project together. We went to The Village center in Jumairah opposite the Mercato center. It was a bright sunny day and two of us were hungry so we deiced to start our day having and delicious breakfast at Shakespeare restaurant. We ordered chicken sandwich with French fries along with fresh orange juice, we both enjoyed having this meal.

After the heavy start we went to Caribou coffee café and had mid-day tea before starting the real work. Then we indulged to the serious job that we went for until we finished it all. Before coming back home we went to Union-Co Operate in Jumairah to purchase some stuff for our EBI campaign.

I suggested to Abeer to go to the beach and watch the sunset view before going back home. It was a peaceful moment watching the sun disappearing behind the sea. We enjoyed the view very much.

I went back home, after I delivered Abeer and spent the rest of the day with my family J
